Well,…. Here we are.  Autumn is done, the clocks are set back, there is a New President elect, and the Holiday’s are just around the corner.  Why is it,… the older we get,…. the quicker the time goes by?  Yikes!     I am currently working on my solo CD project,…. which is coming along o.k.,… just wish I got off my butt a little earlier to get it completed.  LOL!

The first release will be “Cornfield Cubicle”  It kicks Arse!  Even you Rockers will like it.  So, listen for it sometime at the end of November or early December on Cat Country 95.1

With the economy being so crappy,…. it’s hard to see a lot of Joy in the area.  I have recieved many calls and e-mails from you listeners that have fallen on hard times.  Keep your heads up!  What comes around goes around.  Really.  Maybe it doesn’t seem so now,…. but as long as you’re “hangin’ in there” things eventually get better.  So,….. Keep listening to the music,… let it lift your spirits,…. and we’ll get through the winter months all ready to face next years adventures.    That’s what I told a dude named Phil once,…… and now he’s best buds with Oprah!!!!!!!!

Hope your summer is going well. :)       It sure took long enough to get here,…… didn’t it?      I can do WITHOUT the humidity though,….  Good thing I don’t “do” doughnuts!  LOL!

In all seriousness tho,….. Waterfront is JUST around the corner,…..and for most,… that is basically the last big summer event,…then school starts,…. and our grind ,…. just keeps grinding!

What is up with Brett Favre???  I bleed Green and Gold,…. and never saw this one coming.  Sorry Brett Fans,… I’m siding with the Front Office on this one.   Ya, right,…. They should have left everything hanging on Brett to Wee Waugh another year of “should I come back? or retire?,….. This job ROCKS!  Mike Wolfe made me laugh so hard the other day,… I thought I might have needed an ambulance!  Great people to work with, and you fans KICK BUTT!  Thank you ALL for tuning in!

or isn’t it?????  Man, What a Whacky Spring.  70 degrees one day, snow the next.  Don’t blink,……. It will for sure change!

My Nashville trip was a success!  Wrote 6 very good songs,…. Did a TON of networking,… and like usual, didn’t get much sleep.  I am still working on getting the right songs together for my SOLO CD,….. which now,….. I HOPE I can have completed before the Big Christmas rush,….. :o)   I’ll keep y’all posted.

Hard to believe Porterfield Country Music Festival is just around the corner.  Let’s hope it warms up by June!  LOL!    This year should be FANTASTIC!

Thanks to all my “Rock-Pile” fans, for all those interesting e-mails and faxes!  It truly makes my day!  I love laughing with ya’s and sharing those crazy stories.  It definately takes the “edge” off all the crap the Real World throws at us!  YOU ROCK!

Speaking of all the crap the “Real World” throws at us,…… Just how long is it going to take the Government,……. to realize,….. these GAS PRICES are Killing us?  The Joke is OVER.  It is now beyond ridiculous.  Pretty damn hard to swallow.  It will effect EVERY facet of our lives,…. especially by the end of summer.  It will actually cripple some folks.  Lets see,…… should we fill our tank,…. or pay our mortgage?  Hhhhmmmmmm.  I’m Voting for Walter Lowis as President.  He’ll kick some butt!

Well,….. with Winter behind us,…. what will this Spring bring?  Hopefully NOT as much rain as we had as snow during the winter,…. YIKES!

My Journey with Ultra 90 is going well.  Now that the weather is nicer, hopefully I can get out and walk some more,….. and get myself into better shape!  It won’t be long,…. and we’ll be complaining about how HOT it is!

Geez,….. Porterfield Country Fest is just around the corner!  Great line-up this year!  Looks like I may be going to Nashville around the 3rd week(end) in April,….. If everything goes well,….. I should be able to do some shows via the magic of fiber optics,….. LIVE from Twangtown!  Great to have friends down there with nice studios!

Rock 96 is still “blowing up!” with awesome responses.  THANKS  A  MILLION!   Many of you ask,….”How can you go from a High powered, ballistic, Rockin’ crazy man,……. to a Rockin’ Country BigVin,…… without getting all screwed up????,…… That’s EASY!!!!!  I LOVE all the tunes on BOTH stations I am on!  AND,…. Welcome to Winter In Cheeseland.  Ahhhhhh,….sniffle, sniffle,…….

Cheer Up,….. I shot the GroundHog, so spring is just around the corner!  Hope all of you out there are coping with the winter blues allright.  Just turn on your radio, and let US make ya smile!  As far as winter goes,…… I am an avid snowmobiler,…….so,……. I LOVE the SNOW,…… but the cold,….. forget it.  Snow and 25 degrees would suit me just fine.   Have you heard our “new Gal”??   Heather Robbins yet?   Nice gal!  Now,….. with Heather AND Staci, we’ve got some “female power”  to help ya’s along with your music fixes!  Nice people to work with also!  Kit Donaldson is still recovering from is Broken Knee,….. OUCH!!!!!!!  Man, he has been in PAIN!  Poor Guy.  He tries so hard at staying fit,…. then WHAM! out of the blue,….. Laid Up,…. with a Broken Knee.   Hopefully a Speedy recovery is in the mix.    Mike Wolfe has been doing a bang up job with his “side project” of freestyle vertical tobbogganing!  Man,…… crazy!  It is a 4′ tobboggan (with the curly end on BOTH sides,….. including a centered rope),…. and he somehow locks his feet into those little cleated wood strips that hold it together,…. and stands upright as he attempts death defying vertical plunges down these crazy hills!  His customized Black open-faced helmet with yellow and orange flames on it,…. totally ROCKS!  A while back,… He took “Double-K” a.k.a. “The Krift”,…. a.k.a. “Mr. Krift” ,…. along with with our Rock 96 early morning jock Walter Lowis,….out for a journey on the hills.  I believe once “Mr. Krift” saw Walter do 4 summer-salts, one back flip, and recover on his feet only to wet himself,….. that was it. No tobbogganing for him!  So they warmed by the fire and roasted marsmellows and sang kum-by-a.  Very touching scene.  I am too afraid to attempt the vertical challange myself,… I’ll leave that to the Wolfe-man!

VERY cool!  Everything is going well here in Radio Land.  Joe Callow introduced me to that “ULTRA-90″ that you hear us advertise.  Ya know,…. IT REALLY WORKS!  I am NOT  hungry,…… do not “crave” anything (well,…. if you sit me down in front of a great pizza and some cold beer,….) and I DO have a lot more energy!  I have lost 23 pounds from Jan. 1st to now.  Just taking it as it goes,….. Losing weight is more of a change of Lifestyle than anything else.  We ALL should try to be more healthy!!!!  So on that note,…. I’m going to Belly up to the Bar,…… :o)

WHAT IS UP WITH MOTHER NATURE?????  What a whacky winter,…….Make up your mind already!  I myself,…. Love the 4 seasons,….. so when winter comes,…… Let it be WINTER!  You might think I’m crazy,…. but I LOVE the excersise and “freshness” of shoveling a new 6 inches of snow,……. I love the peaceful and pretty scene of a winter setting,…… and of course,….. snowmobiling!    So when I see 9 inches of snow melt and it is raining,…… then it get cold again,…. and we get 7 or 8 more inches of snow,…… and then it warms up and rains again,……. UGH!!!!  Man,…. one of my good friends from Illinois called me the other day, and she said it was 62!   Whacky!   Oh well,…… Life is full of surprises,….may as well sit back for the ride!

GO PACKERS!  I sure hope they can go all the way this year,……. either way,…… they had a Great season!

Did You All make any New Years resolutions????  Well, I actually told myself that I will lose weight this year. I HAVE TO!  It sucks getting older,….. but when ya get older,….AND need to get in shape,….. UGH!!!!!!!!!  I am actually taking some of that ULTRA 90 that you hear advertised on our stations,……. So,…. If you hear some commercials coming with me having some testimonials,….. That will be a GOOD thing,….. That will mean that I am actually sticking to it!   So,…. Wish Me luck.   I know I am already a super-stud,… but Hey!,….. a smaller me would only be that much Cooler!  LOL!  :o)

I recieved a call the other day from friends down in Menasha,….. Now that we are at 95.1 on Cat Country,…… I am coming in down there!  100,000 Watts KICKS BUTT!   Thanks for all the nice e-mails and faxes.  You  People are AWESOME!!!!!!!!

The Rock (Rock 96) continues to EXPLODE!!!!!  You supporters out there of that station KICK BUTT also!!!!!  What a fun time! :o)

I would like to Congratulate Coach Hofer, all his assistants, and the entire Menominee Maroon Football team for their AWESOME accomplishment (s).

It is so hard just to make it to the Championship game, let alone win it, AND to win it in BACK TO BACK seasons is truly remarkable.  In this day in age, it is extremely tough to keep ones concentration so focussed.  Once again,…. Truly remarkarble.

I join the entire surrounding areas and communities in taking our hats off to such a great accomplishment.   Great job Maroons.  This feat truly will live in infamy.
